CRUSADER CHYPRE

Chypre is the French for Cyprus.  It is now the name given to a certain type of woody perfume.

When the Crusaders invaded Cyprus in the 13th century, they brought back a material called labdanum from the sticky buds of the Cistus bush.  It has a heavy, sweet, balsamic scent.

This fragrance is based on a genuine perfume worn by Crusading knights.

Labdanum, oakmoss and patchouli cut with citrusy bergamot and softened with blood-red rose.

Ingredients: sweet almond oil, fragrance oil.

Quantity:  at  £5.99  each
